About

Seth Bridges has been on faculty at HVC since 2010, and was a student here from 1993-2003 under the direction of founder Samuel E. Wright.  A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Seth works professionally as an actor, fight choreographer and stuntman.

Specializing in classical theatre and scene study, he brings a fun, but diligent energy to his classes - pushing his students toward a deeper understanding of character and relationship, exploring intermediate and advanced acting techniques, and above all, fostering a greater love of - and appreciation for - the performing arts.

As an actor, he has performed on stages across the country, with credits including Alabama Story (Pioneer Theatre Company, world premiere); Peter and the Starcatcher (Arkansas Repertory Theatre); Great ExpectationsThe Three Musketeers (Syracuse Stage); The TempestSherlock Holmes, Twelfth Night, A Christmas Carol (Alabama Shakespeare Festival); ProofOne Man Two Guvnors (TheatreSquared); The Liar (Gulfshore Playhouse).

As a stuntman, his credits include Boardwalk Empire, Gotham, Elementary, Law & Order: SVU, The Blacklist, Marvel's The Defenders, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Quantico, numerous feature and independent films, and the upcoming video game Red Dead Redemption 2.

In addition to his time at HVC, Seth has taught acting and stage combat at NYU, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Francis Xavier High School, and Bayshore Christian Academy.

He is a proud of member Actors' Equity Association, SAG-AFTRA, and the Television Academy.
