The Hudson Valley Conservatory and New Rose Theatre invite
Girl Scouts to participate in a theatre workshop and attend a performance of the new contemporary ballet:

Girl Scout workshops are being offered on:
Saturday March 23 2:00pm workshop, 3:00pm Performance
Sunday March 24 1:00pm workshop, 2:00pm Performance
Saturday March 30 2:00pm workshop, 3:00pm Performance
Sunday March 31 1:00pm workshop, 2:00pm Performance
Your Girl Scout workshop will take about one hour, and then you will stay for a performance of The Wizard of Oz presented by The Hudson Valley Conservatory. This modern interpretation of the classic tale told through pantomime and contemporary ballet.

Cost:$20.00 each Scout and Leader. This price includes workshop, performance and a Theater Fun Patch! Please purchase tickets in Safety Wise ratios.
About the Theatre:Established in 2000, the New Rose is an intergenerational community theatre. The theatre's mission is to enrich the community with the performing arts through the presentation of high quality and affordable productions. The New Rose offers several productions throughout the year for all ages. Its season consists of plays, both dramatic and comedic, contemporary ballets, musicals, and its own original version of the Nutcracker. The New Rose Theatre offers the Hudson Valley a Broadway experience in its own backyard.
About the Girl Scout Workshop: Girl Scouts take center stage as they try on roles through hands on activities that are sure to get their creativity flowing. Scouts will create and work on a m craft inspired by the performance. Scouts will also experience an introductory theatre make up tutorial.
This program makes an excellent accompaniment to any of the ‘It’s Your Story- Tell It’
Girl Scout Journeysand can be tailored for any age group.
