Created in the spring of 2000, the New Rose Theatre began as the performance space of the Hudson Valley Conservatory and small community productions. Through its progression the theatre has grown to not only enrich the quality of education for the students of the Hudson Valley Conservatory, but become an arts hub for the Hudson Valley, bringing innovative and affordable theatre to the community. We are very excited to enter the theatre’s next chapter transforming into The New Rose Theatre Group, a non-profit organization focused on facilitating performance art in the form of plays, ballets and musical works that will fulfill the communities need to make the performing arts available to all.
